With a wide range of technical knowledge, I've spent the last 19 years within IBM UK Ltd, working with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (formally ADSTAR, and lately Spectrum Protect) in varying guises, eg,
- Building out Customer TSM Servers (Jaguar Land Rover, Bradford & Bingley) as part of the Strategic Outsourcing deal;
- Successfully completing Disaster Recovery tests, both in-country and globally;
- Asked to task force account improvement accounts, in various EMEA countries.
- I spent 2 years as Technical Lead of Shared Storage Services, where I brought infrastructure which was almost out of support, into a standard platform, running n-1 software & kicking off many cost saving & service improvement initiatives that benefit IBM and our clients.
More recently, I've become Lead Architect for Server Lifecycle Automation tooling, which includes product sets such as Continuous Compliance, Self Service Delivery and Automated Server Build. I'm very passionate about the work I do & supporting my colleagues, and involved in alot of mentoring, both in the UK and my colleagues in India.
